During this two-year curriculum, you'll explore multiple facets of Canada's legal framework, covering areas like family law, criminal justice, and contractual agreements.
Program graduates will be workforce-ready, equipped to contribute to the legal field across multiple sectors, offering valuable assistance to legal practitioners in private firms, corporate legal divisions, and government institutions. The program culminates with a practical placement after your second year, where you'll implement your technical abilities in a real-world professional environment.

Students applying to Legal Assistant must have a minimum of 50% in: ELA 30-1, or equivalent or
A minimum of 65% in: ELA 30-2, or equivalent or
A minimum score of 250 on the Reading component, 250 on the Writing component and 5 on the WritePlacer Test.
NOTE: Applicants are advised that both COMM 150 and COMM 250 are program requirements, and both must be completed to meet the Graduation Requirements.
