Queen's University's Environmental Studies program offers graduate-level education in environmental sustainability through an interdisciplinary lens. It examines the long-term characteristics and consequences of environmental shifts, the relationship between present choices and future outcomes, and how human welfare is deeply connected to environmental health. With increasing demand for professionals skilled in environmental fields, students seek advanced training to prepare for careers across industries, government agencies, and NGOs. Our programs were created to meet this rising need. The curriculum enables collaborative initiatives with various Queen's and RMC departments such as Biology, Business, Chemistry, Developmental Studies, Engineering, Geography, and more.
Students must have Four-year Honours undergraduate degree (or the equivalent).
