Expand your horizons with UNB's Forestry and Environmental Management graduate programs. For over a century, we've been shaping forestry science education, empowering students to steward Earth's natural resources for future generations.
Recognized as a top program in North America, our department fosters collaborative learning that examines environmental challenges through both ecological and socioeconomic lenses. Alumni emerge prepared for diverse forestry careers, becoming influential environmental advocates, resource stewards, conservation specialists, project leaders, and research professionals.
Our vibrant community includes approximately 80 graduate students pursuing varied research initiatives. Recent alumni have established careers in wildlife conservation, Indigenous community engagement, community-university research coordination, geospatial studies, academic research, and beyond.
