The Graduate Certificate in Environmental Education and Communication equips you with foundational concepts, theoretical frameworks, practical approaches, and methodologies to educate and communicate with ecological awareness.

Whether you're an educator currently teaching environmental topics or seeking to expand your impact, or a sustainability professional aiming to enhance your messaging, you'll cultivate robust communication and instructional abilities to energize and mobilize people, groups, and communities.

Qualification Requirements

Four-year (or comparable) undergraduate degree in a related field, with a minimum GPA of 'B' (3.00/4.33), from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Normally, at least two years of relevant work or volunteer experience.
Applicants who meet the degree requirement, but not the GPA requirement, will normally be required to complete Academic Writing and Critical Thinking several weeks prior to starting the program and obtain a minimum final grade of B (73%).

IELTS-Academic - 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.5 in writing and speaking, and 6.0 in listening and reading
TOEFL-iBT - 88 overall with a minimum 24 in writing, and 20 in listening, reading and speaking
PTE-A - 60 overall with a minimum 60 in writing and speaking, and 58 in listening and reading
