This internationally-focused, interdisciplinary program offers MA and PhD degrees in Global Development Studies, equipping students with advanced research skills for careers in government, academia, development organizations, media, education, business, and law. Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum B+ average from a recognized four-year undergraduate program (or equivalent) is required. Relevant degrees may include: development studies, politics, history, sociology, geography, economics, gender studies, environmental studies, literature, film, religion, and aboriginal studies. Students from traditionally unrelated fields (engineering, education or nursing) may also be considered for admission if the applicant has completed sufficient course work in the field.

Applicants must have TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT): The minimum overall score is 88, made up of the minimum scores in each component test as follows: Writing test: 24/30; Speaking test: 22/30; Reading test: 22/30; Listening test: 20/30; MELAB: 80 (minimum overall score); IELTS: 7 (minimum score, academic module); PTE Academic: 65 (minimum overall score).
