The Department of International Development Studies strives to enhance global understanding between affluent and developing nations through academic exploration, investigative work, and intercultural educational opportunities. Students examine theoretical frameworks, methodological approaches, study planning, practical development applications, and complete a dissertation.
The Graduate Admission Committee for IDS accepts students who have a minimum of A- (GPA 3.7) average or higher over their last two years of full-time study in a relevant degree program preferably an honours degree.
