Queen's Law has partnered with the Economics Department to create a dual-degree program enabling students to earn both an MA and JD within three years. This initiative delivers specialized interdisciplinary education for those exploring intersections between legal studies and economic analysis, such as international trade regulations, corporate governance, antitrust laws, environmental resource management, and taxation policies. Students in the combined MA (Econ)/JD program will acquire exceptional training and a competitive edge for careers in specialized legal practice demanding economic theory expertise, advanced policy development, and academic research.
Applicants must meet the admission requirements of both the M.A. (Economics) and the J.D. degree programs.
