The Economics program provides instruction in fundamental economic theory along with various specialization areas. Our curriculum includes a non-thesis track, which aligns with the typical structure of graduate Economics programs across North America. This path requires completing eight half courses and submitting an in-depth research paper. Typically, students enroll in six courses during their initial year (three per semester), followed by two courses in their second fall semester, culminating with their research paper in the second winter term. Economics examines resource allocation and the decision-making processes behind production methods, output choices, and distribution systems.
