The World Religions & Cultures program provides students with comprehensive knowledge about religious diversity in today's interconnected world—including within our local communities. The curriculum examines the historical roots, daily practices, and modern contexts of principal faiths: Hinduism, Buddhism and other Eastern religions, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

Beyond academic study, World Religions & Cultures offers practical value. In our increasingly connected global community, we regularly encounter people from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds we may not fully comprehend. This gap in understanding frequently results in unfortunate outcomes, as daily news reports demonstrate. To effectively improve our world, we must first grasp its complexities. Whether pursued independently or alongside disciplines like Psychology, Sociology, or Social Work, exploring global religions and cultures serves as a vital foundation for creating meaningful, positive transformation.
