The Global Gender Studies program examines gender and sexuality-related disparities and structures worldwide through feminist and queer theoretical lenses. By integrating resources from the Centre for Global Studies with Western University's Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Department, this curriculum provides exceptional insights into how global processes and cultural frameworks influence personal experiences and societal relations regarding gender and sexuality. Learners develop expertise in applying feminist theories and gender perspectives to worldwide contexts, with particular emphasis on challenges in implementing these approaches globally.
