George Brown's Dance Performance program offers an intensive two-year diploma that paves the way for a rewarding career in ballet and/or contemporary dance. This dynamic program enhances your technical abilities and stage presence, equipping you for a prosperous performing arts career.
Through this challenging two-year Dance Performance diploma, you'll acquire essential training and competencies for a vibrant professional dance career. Upon completion, you'll emerge as a skilled ballet and/or contemporary dancer, armed with professional knowledge, technical mastery, and valuable industry networks to thrive in the competitive dance world.
Students can focus on either classical or contemporary dance, receiving instruction in ballet, modern, and jazz techniques. The curriculum also includes acting, vocal training, repertoire study, and composition classes to expand your artistic range and career opportunities.
Have graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college)
Be 17 years of age or older at the time of registration
Applicants with transcripts from an institution where the language of instruction is not English may meet English language proficiency requirements with one of the following proofs of language proficiency.
