The School of Planning provides graduate-level professional education in urban planning. Our Master of Planning degree holds accreditation from the Canadian Institute of Planners. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through collaborative projects with local communities. Housed in a grand historic building alongside the School of Architecture, students benefit from shared faculty resources including multimedia equipment, model construction facilities, photography studios, computer labs, and woodworking shops.
With intimate class sizes ranging from 15 to 25 students, you'll experience a supportive academic environment that fosters lively exchanges and dialogue. Graduate students receive dedicated workspace and have representation on faculty governance committees. The School offers opportunities to apply for scholarships and research assistant positions to support your studies.
