The Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism equips students for professional careers while offering a strong base for various interdisciplinary and design-related disciplines. Our Master in Architectural Studies (MAS) is a 6-credit, non-accredited program designed for those seeking thorough exploration of architectural topics as groundwork for academic research. This curriculum fosters diverse methodologies and interdisciplinary perspectives in scholarly work. The MAS may also fulfill requirements for admission to the PhD in Architecture program. Each program at the Azrieli School prioritizes creative and innovative approaches within both theoretical and practical frameworks. Additionally, graduates have the opportunity to earn a Graduate Diploma in Architectural Conservation.

Qualification Requirements

The Master of Architectural Studies is a non-professional degree for students interested in pursuing in-depth architectural research.

The minimum requirement for admission to the M.A.S. is a four-year honours undergraduate degree in architecture or equivalent, with a minimum overall standing of B-.

All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language. See Section 3.6 of the General Regulations section of this calendar for details.

IELTS - Overall 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band).
TOEFL iBT - 86 (20 in reading and listening, 22 in speaking and writing)
TOEFL PBT - overall score of 580.
