The Construction Project Management program is a two-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate designed to equip students for leadership roles in the construction sector. Initially, international students gain essential Canadian industry knowledge to support their academic and professional growth. Later semesters develop specialized management competencies for residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects through practical and theoretical instruction.
Upon completion, Construction Project Management graduates oversee diverse construction initiatives across residential, ICI (industrial, commercial, institutional), and civil infrastructure sectors.
As integral team members, program alumni coordinate with various stakeholders to define project parameters, assess viability, and establish objectives. They organize and guide construction teams to achieve project targets while adhering to safety protocols, environmental considerations, legal requirements, industry regulations, and professional ethics.
