Industrial Engineering serves as the foundation for the critical systems that support modern society. Whether in aviation, e-commerce, healthcare, production, telecom, or global logistics, industrial engineers develop solutions to enhance the efficiency of intricate networks involving people, technology, and data. This program attracts students with diverse academic histories, spanning Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and related disciplines. The Master of Engineering (MEng) is a practice-focused degree consisting of seven courses, a graduate seminar, and a project component.
MEng projects must demonstrate a student's capacity to successfully execute a sufficiently challenging undertaking that applies knowledge acquired through advanced undergraduate and graduate-level industrial engineering studies.

  • Four-year Bachelor‚Äôs degree
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
  • Degree granted by university of recognized standing

  • MELAB: 85
  • IELTS: 7
  • CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
  • Dalhousie College of Continuing Education (CCE): A-
  • Pearson English Test PTE Academic: overall score of 65 and nothing below 54
