The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science provides graduate diploma options along with MASc, MEng, and PhD programs across multiple engineering fields such as Civil, Communications, Computer, Electrical, Energy Systems, Mechanical, Ocean and Naval Architecture, Oil and Gas, Process, and Safety and Risk Engineering. Our faculty members bring diverse specializations and professional backgrounds to the table, with many possessing extensive industry experience that enhances both their teaching and research initiatives through consulting work.
In recent years, the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science has seen significant expansion in its graduate offerings, marked by growing enrollment numbers and an expanding range of courses and programs. Our professors actively participate in large-scale research initiatives funded by organizations like NSERC, AIF, CRC, and CFI, giving students exceptional chances to collaborate on high-profile projects. Research support is available across all departments, with graduate students having full access to research infrastructure. The faculty promotes interdisciplinary approaches, allowing students to blend multiple traditional fields to create customized academic paths.
Graduate diploma – These coursework-based programs can be finished in under two years of full-time enrollment.
