Industrial Engineering serves as the foundation for the critical systems that support modern society. Whether it's airlines, e-commerce platforms, healthcare facilities, production plants, telecom providers, or global logistics firms, industrial engineers develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of intricate systems involving people, technology, and data. The program attracts students with diverse academic backgrounds such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and related fields. To earn a Master of Applied Science (MASc), candidates must complete four courses, participate in a graduate seminar, and produce a research thesis. This thesis must demonstrate original contributions to the field and contain content worthy of academic publication.
