The graduate programs in this Department are highly selective with limited enrollment. Each year, we admit approximately eight to ten MA candidates and six to eight PhD candidates. Our students benefit from personalized mentorship and can tailor their academic paths to align with their specific research interests. Qualification Requirements
Student must have:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
- Degree granted by university of recognized standing
English language proficiency test score:
- Internet-based TOEFL (Academic iBT): 100
- MELAB: 85
- IELTS: 7.5
- CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
- Dalhousie College of Continuing Education (CCE) : A-
- Pearson English Test PTE Academic: overall score of 65 and nothing below 54
