The Master of Arts in Philosophy at Western University is a 12-month program. Participants complete six single-term courses and produce a 10,000-word summer research paper (which can expand upon coursework, though this isn't mandatory).
Annual course offerings showcase the faculty's diverse expertise, organized around five key areas: feminist philosophy; historical philosophy (covering ancient, medieval, and modern periods); ethics, politics, and legal theory; philosophy of mind and language; and philosophy of science (encompassing mathematics and logic).
