The Master of Arts in Public Policy and Public Administration equips you with essential skills for careers in government agencies, civil service, and NGOs. You'll examine democratic governance challenges, evaluating intricate policy scenarios to deliver specialized guidance. The program offers networking opportunities through classes and special events where you'll engage with policymakers, commentators, high-ranking officials, and scholars. Those choosing the internship track gain professional experience through a four-month placement in their final term, either in government or corporate settings. Most participants obtain compensated internships with federal departments in Ottawa or Montreal, while others secure international positions in hubs like Geneva or Washington. Approximately 95% of internship participants transition directly into permanent or temporary roles after completing their placements.
