The Graduate Certificate in Arts Education and Community Engagement is a two-semester program that prepares students for careers in arts education and community-based arts initiatives.

Participants will develop skills to create pedagogically effective arts education programs tailored to diverse communities. The curriculum covers community arts best practices and prepares students to lead arts-focused social justice projects. Through research, mentorship, and practical placements, students explore various career paths in arts education and community development. Program graduates will gain the skills to build careers in arts education while integrating community-focused arts into their professional practice.

This program fosters innovation by demonstrating cutting-edge teaching methods. Through partnerships with prominent arts institutions, it creates valuable industry connections. Completion of a Diploma or Degree in an artistic field
We will also consider applicants with partial post-secondary education and Substantial history of artistic practice (at least 5 years), involving some work in arts education and/or community development
IELTS - 6.5 with no band score less than 6.0
TOEFL - 580 Paper-based and 88+ minimums of 22 for the Internet-based test
