The Collaborative MA in Digital Humanities enables students to investigate how digital innovations are transforming our engagement with arts, media, and culture, reshaping collective memory, and fostering worldwide connections and cross-cultural exchanges. Participants will develop analytical skills through original research projects utilizing cutting-edge theories, methodologies, and technologies, while working alongside peers, faculty at Carleton, and community collaborators. Our practicum offers practical experience with advanced tools for computational cultural analysis and introduces novel approaches for studying digital-era social dynamics and networked communities.

Qualification Requirements

The requirement for admission into the master's program is a B.A. Honours (or the equivalent) with at least high honours standing in anthropology or a closely-related field. Where relevant, previous professional experience will be taken into account in determining an applicant's standing on admission.
IELTS - Overall 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band).
TOEFL iBT - 86 (20 in reading and listening, 22 in speaking and writing)
TOEFL PBT - overall score of 580.
