The Arts curriculum emphasizes transformative learning experiences and includes four Signature elements in your electives to shape your unique graduate profile: Global immersion, Intercultural expertise, Professional experience, or Innovation capability. Upon completion, you'll earn dual degrees: a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Music. This combination provides the full advantages of both programs (see Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Music) and prepares you for careers in either field or interdisciplinary roles like arts management, production, policy, coaching, performance, music education, or composition.
The Indonesian studies major enhances your language proficiency for everyday interactions in Indonesian before advancing to complex skills like translation, interpretation, and analysis. You'll develop cultural fluency by examining diverse linguistic forms, media genres, and performance styles, while mastering the etiquette essential for effective communication in Indonesian contexts.
