The Master of Teaching (Primary) program is tailored for individuals who are passionate about education and working with children. Each semester combines fundamental courses, such as cultural studies or educational psychology, with specialized curriculum subjects including language arts, performing arts, and health/physical education.
Applicants may be admitted to the Master of Teaching (Primary) upon successful completion of an accredited bachelor degree containing at least one year of full-time equivalent studies (eight semester-long units of study) relevant to one or more key learning areas of the primary school curriculum. The key learning areas are:

• mathematics 
• science and technology 
• human society and its environment 
• creative and practical arts 
• personal development, health and physical education.
