This coursework Masters provides a direct route into the dietetics profession, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on training in clinical dietetics, food service management, community and public health, and research.
The program equips students with skills to analyze nutrition science, evaluate dietary requirements, perform research, and provide nutritional guidance for overall wellness and specific needs, including medical conditions and performance enhancement.
Upon completion, graduates qualify for full membership with Dietitians Australia (DA) and can enroll in the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program - Australia's sole government-recognized credential accepted by numerous private health insurers.
Three undergraduate programs serve as pathways to this Master's degree: the Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition Bioscience Major), Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Nutrition Science Major), or Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) with suggested electives. Exercise and Sports Science graduates can additionally register with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), creating potential for dual accreditation (ESSA and APD).
