The field of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies examines how gender and sexuality function as frameworks for understanding inequality, diversity, and identity formation. It explores gender (the societal interpretations of biological differences) and sexuality (encompassing sexual behaviors, identities, discussions, and structures) in relation to factors like socioeconomic status, ethnicity, citizenship, belief systems, physical ability, and broader aspects of existence. Incorporating these viewpoints across academic disciplines demands innovative research approaches, conceptual frameworks, and critical analysis.
