Yale School of Music's tuba program maintains an intimate, concentrated approach while thriving within the brass department's cooperative atmosphere. Tuba students receive weekly one-on-one instruction and attend group seminar classes. Beyond solo performances, they actively engage in chamber music—a cornerstone of the Yale musical experience. Participants also perform with multiple ensembles during New Music New Haven concerts and join the Yale Philharmonia orchestra. Qualification Requirements
