As one of the nation's top three largest music colleges, our comprehensive program provides endless opportunities and networking as you carve your musical journey. Brass performance degrees at both undergraduate and graduate levels deliver elite applied training, extensive ensemble experience, plus specialized coursework in repertoire, teaching methods, and foundational studies in piano, theory, and history. Our alumni now teach at prestigious institutions nationwide.
The College serves as home base for multiple campus orchestras, bands, choirs, jazz ensembles, early music groups, nine global music ensembles, various chamber groups, plus Florida State Opera and Music Theater. Annually, we present over 350 performances and host major events like the biennial Festival of New Music. Our distinguished history informs our commitment to excellence while challenging us to support tomorrow's musicians - the students who will fill our practice rooms and classrooms.
