Wright State University's College of Nursing and Health offers an undergraduate nursing program culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree. High-achieving students may participate in an honors program. The curriculum provides two on-campus pre-licensure tracks tailored to student backgrounds: (1) the conventional track for sophomores or direct-entry high school students, and (2) an accelerated pre-licensure track for those with healthcare experience such as military medical training, EMT certification, LPN qualifications, or bachelor's degree holders with direct patient care experience. Track 1 is available at both Dayton and Lake campuses, while Track 2 is exclusively offered at the Dayton campus. Today's nurses play a pivotal role as central figures in healthcare systems and patient advocates. Accordingly, Wright State develops independent graduates capable of working as versatile professionals across various settings, collaborating with other healthcare providers to enhance care for individuals, families, and communities.
