For those starting their careers or considering a new path, nursing provides diverse opportunities to address health needs across individuals, families, communities, and populations. The School of Nursing provides a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with two educational pathways:

Full-time daytime program
Fast-track 2nd degree option - a 16-month intensive program designed for students with an existing bachelor's degree in another discipline. This program accepts students for Summer, Spring, and Fall terms.
Apply knowledge from liberal arts and sciences when delivering professional nursing services to diverse patients across all life stages and healthcare environments.
Understand leadership and management concepts for enhancing care quality and patient safety within various cultural, economic, organizational, and political contexts.
Implement evidence-based approaches to enhance patient outcomes in professional nursing practice.
Utilize technology ethically to support decision-making and demonstrate proficiency with patient care systems throughout all care settings.
Analyze healthcare policies, financial factors, and regulations affecting nursing practice and patient access to care, while advocating for both patients and the profession.
Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to improve communication and patient-centered care approaches.
Deliver population-focused nursing services incorporating health promotion, disease prevention, risk evaluation, genetic factors, equity considerations, and efficient resource use.
Maintain professional standards and accountability by upholding values of compassion, independence, respect, integrity, and social fairness.
Use clinical judgment to create culturally sensitive nursing interventions that consider spiritual beliefs, ethnic background, financial circumstances, gender identity, and sexual orientation for patients of all ages.

Qualification Requirements

Undergraduate Applicants are required to submit the High School transcripts or its equivalent.

Minimum high school GPA of 85%

High School Science and Math grades B or higher (85% or > in each math and science course)

Accelerated Students

Have a previous bachelors degree and maintain a college GPA of 3.3 or better (88% or higher).
Achieve grades of B+ or better (3.3/88% or higher) in each of the following courses: Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Microbiology, and Statistics.

Minimum Scores for full admission:

TOEFL: 75

IELTS 6.0
