William Paterson University's (WP) graduate program in athletic training provides a Master of Science in Athletic Training (MS in AT) through a demanding curriculum. This program equips students with essential knowledge and practical skills for their career development. Graduates will be fully qualified to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. The WP Athletic Training (AT) Program aims to ready students for prosperous careers in the field or advanced doctoral studies for those pursuing further education.
Participants must fulfill 38 credit hours, combining classroom instruction with clinical training. The clinical component involves four semesters of practical work under a WP-approved preceptor, including an intensive full-semester immersion during the second year's fall term.
