The Transportation Planning graduate certificate is an interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge for success in the transportation field, along with focused training in four key specialization areas: Multimodal Systems Planning, Transportation & Urban Design, Transportation & Public Policy, and Transit Management. Available to all Texas A&M University graduate students interested in transportation, this certificate program is administered by the Center for Housing & Urban Development within the School of Architecture. It's a collaborative effort involving the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), and the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
Certificate graduates will gain the ability to recognize planning requirements and apply specialized expertise to address transportation planning issues. The program provides both comprehensive foundational knowledge for the transportation sector and in-depth understanding in one of the four focus areas.
