The Master of Arts in Science Education program caters to current science educators looking to enhance their instructional abilities, as well as those starting their journey toward a PhD in Science Education.
WMU's interdisciplinary Mallinson Institute for Science Education is dedicated to enhancing science education through research, both inside and outside academic settings. We train graduate students with a science focus from across the globe to become thoughtful, active contributors to the field of science education.
The minimum admission requirements to this degree program are: (1) an undergraduate major in science or science education and (2) teacher certification.
Minimum English proficiency test scores:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 80 iBT
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: 6.5
Pearson Test of English, Academic Module (PTE): 54
Michigan English Test (MET): 57
