Western Michigan University's School of Medicine (WMed) collaborates with the Haworth College of Business (HCoB) to provide a combined Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration program with a Healthcare focus in Kalamazoo, Michigan. While WMed and HCoB maintain their separate MD and MBA degree programs, they work together to allow qualified MBA students to include WMed's medical coursework. The partnership doesn't alter either institution's degree requirements. Both schools maintain independent admissions processes, graduation evaluations, and academic oversight. Being accepted into either the MBA or MD program doesn't ensure admission to the other.
