Western Michigan University provides a cutting-edge 28.5-million-dollar facility and two academic pathways for chemistry undergraduates: a general arts and sciences chemistry program and an American Chemical Society-approved chemistry degree. The general arts and sciences chemistry track at WMU caters to students aiming for graduate school or seeking adaptable preparation for medical, dental, veterinary, or pharmacy programs. For those uncertain about postgraduate plans or intending to enter the chemical industry immediately after completing their WMU bachelor's degree, we recommend the ACS-certified option. This rigorous program mandates advanced coursework to complete the curriculum. Discover more about the ACS-accredited chemistry degree.
A first-year applicant is a student who is applying for admission and who has not attempted or earned any college credit after graduating from high school/secondary school (or earned equivalent).
