As a biomedical sciences major at WMU, you'll explore biological systems and anatomical structures to develop comprehensive knowledge of health, disease diagnosis, and treatment approaches. Your studies will encompass subjects like human and molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, and physiology. The program culminates with a capstone experience, offering either a specialized senior seminar or faculty-guided independent research.
A first-year applicant is a student who is applying for admission and who has not attempted or earned any college credit after graduating from high school/secondary school (or earned equivalent).
