At UW-La Crosse, you'll encounter numerous research chances collaborating with professors in a department acclaimed statewide for teaching excellence. The UWL Biology Department provides undergraduate and graduate programs in biological sciences, featuring cutting-edge equipment and facilities for both coursework and research. Undergraduate research options span multiple biological fields, with most students able to conduct independent studies under faculty guidance. Courses and research projects utilize our local educational assets—the Mississippi River and La Crosse River Marsh.
Applicant must have completion of secondary or post-secondary from institution.
English Language Proficiency
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 73 with IELTS score of 6.0 and PTE score of 54. In addition completion of ELS level 112 and completion of WESLI level 700 is required.
Priority application deadlines are 15 December for the January/Spring semester and 15 July for the September/Fall semester.
