Kinesiology is a field of study examining physical movement and its effects on wellbeing, social dynamics, and life satisfaction. At WIU's Kinesiology Department, undergraduates can specialize in Exercise Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutrition and Foodservice Management, or Physical Education. Each program emphasizes understanding the human body through psychological, biological, and physiological lenses while promoting active, health-conscious living.

Exercise Science majors gain preparation for diverse careers in kinesiology.
