Saint Louis University provides an accelerated 32-credit graduate program in athletic training with early assurance. Over four years, students obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Exercise Science, followed by a Master of Athletic Training (MAT) after one additional post-baccalaureate year. The program welcomes transfer students and post-baccalaureate applicants. With an interprofessional emphasis, the curriculum fosters collaborative healthcare teamwork. SLU's athletic training program sets the benchmark for quality, maintaining a perfect pass rate on Board of Certification Exams since inception, exceptional job placement success, and nationally/internationally recognized students and faculty. Freshmen start with three years of liberal arts and science prerequisites before advancing to the two-year professional phase, contingent on meeting academic and conduct standards.
