Since 1961, the School of Music has maintained accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Music, providing a Bachelor of Music degree with specializations in Applied Music (performance, jazz, composition), Music Business, Music Therapy, and Music Teacher Education. Students can pursue studies in keyboard, voice, winds, strings, percussion, as well as focused training in jazz and composition. The program also prepares students for certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT). Additionally, the School offers minors in Liberal Arts Music, Music Business, and Jazz Studies.
