The World Percussion Certificate offers students a comprehensive curriculum focused on global percussion within commercial music. Students explore historical aspects in both traditional and modern contexts through MUS 125 (History of Rock) and MUS 127 (World's Music Live), while applying performance skills in MUS 166 (World Percussion Techniques) and MUS 167 (World Percussion Ensemble). Personalized instruction (MUSA 164-1001 and 1002) delivers individual guidance for mastering specialized world percussion techniques.
