This program aims to give PhD candidates the chance to pursue studies and research alongside faculty members specializing in key areas within the Division of Resource Management, as well as across other divisions of the Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Every participant in the program undertakes a foundational curriculum covering research methodologies, graduate-level seminars, and teaching practice. Those selecting this major can concentrate their academic work and investigations on subjects like education and workforce development, community and cultural enhancement, governmental policies, economic development and influence, or other fields aligned with their career aspirations as determined in collaboration with their graduate advisory committee.
