The Master's program is a rigorous two-year curriculum designed for students pursuing careers in biomedical research or medical education. It also serves as a stepping stone for those aiming to enter doctoral or professional programs later. Participants choose between two specialized paths: the Research Track or the Education Track. The initial year concentrates on academic studies, while the second year prioritizes practical experience in either research or teaching. Both tracks culminate in a written thesis requirement.
The Research Track allows specialization in Visual Sciences or Neuroscience, where students master cutting-edge techniques for preclinical and clinical investigations. Meanwhile, the Education Track focuses on developing instructional skills in Gross Anatomy, Microanatomy (Histology), Embryology, and Neuroanatomy. Through virtual microscopy and cadaver dissection, students gain valuable teaching competencies for these specialized subjects.
