The expertise developed in our M.A. program proves invaluable for careers in an international hub like Detroit. Wayne State's Master of Arts in Romance Languages, specializing in French, offers higher-level education in language, literature, and cultural studies. Alumni develop translation abilities, text interpretation skills, and cross-cultural understanding. Our graduates work across various fields including automotive, secondary and higher education, and private enterprises. Numerous alumni pursue doctoral studies at Wayne State and institutions like the University of Texas-Austin, University of Virginia, and Emory University. Prospective students need to show proficiency in French.
