Qualification Requirements

An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and a master's GPA of 3.5 are required for admission to the Ph.D. program. There is a direct admit option for students with a bachelor's (GPA of 3.0) who have not previously been admitted to a master's program.
Requirements for the Ed.D. program are more flexible. Recent admittances to the Ed.D. program had an undergraduate GPA of approximately 2.8 and master's GPA of about 3.3. There is no direct admit option for this degree.
All undergraduate and master's majors are acceptable for the Ph.D. and Ed.D. programs.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required.
To establish English proficiency, you are required to submit an official qualifying score meeting minimum Graduate School requirements. The Graduate School's English Language Proficiency requirements are the absolute minimum, programs can set higher minimum standards. You are expected to meet the requirements set by your program of interest.
