The Master of Arts program consists of 30 credit hours (either 24 course/thesis credits or 26 course/4 capstone credits). Students maintaining nine credit hours per semester are considered full-time. To suit working professionals, most bioethics classes are scheduled for late afternoons or early evenings.
Our Master of Arts in Bioethics Program accommodates both full-time and part-time enrollment. Those studying full-time usually finish their coursework in two semesters and complete their thesis/capstone by the subsequent semester's end (totaling three semesters).
This Bioethics Graduate Program prepares students to engage in bioethics practice, instruction, and research, serving as an ideal supplement to other advanced degrees. Health professionals and others in related fields often discover that earning a master's degree or graduate certificate opens new career paths within their current roles or enables transitions into different specialties. For those beginning their careers, graduate studies in bioethics apply to diverse fields such as healthcare management, clinical practice and research, legal professions, and policy development.
