The English Department provides an extensive selection of courses covering all key areas of British and American literature. Our vibrant curriculum blends conventional and contemporary methods of literary analysis. We equally emphasize historical perspectives and theoretical frameworks, detailed textual examination and cultural backgrounds, artistic qualities and social implications. Our faculty teaches and researches diverse topics spanning from Old English verse to modern postcolonial cinema, from Shakespearean drama to Hemingway's works, Jane Austen to Toni Morrison, formal criticism to gender studies, lengthy narratives to brief verses, and much more.

Certified transcripts are required from each secondary school, college or university attended. A record of at least four years of schooling is needed in order to evaluate the application. Detailed information concerning courses taken and grades received must be listed on these records. If necessary, transcripts should be translated into English with the originals sealed and attached.
