Whether you plan to pursue opportunities in Indiana, other U.S. states, or internationally, our German program equips you with essential skills. Through this major, you'll develop comprehensive abilities in German comprehension, conversation, reading, and writing, while studying Germany's rich cultural heritage—including its artistic masterpieces, architectural wonders, musical traditions, and key historical, political, social, and economic milestones.
Students should apply as a freshman undergraduate student if:
Students have completed or will complete high school or secondary school before the semester you apply to start
Students have not attended a university, college, or other postsecondary institution
Students wish to earn a bachelor’s degree
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
Dates and Deadlines - International Admissions must receive all your application materials by these dates for consideration for a specific term
Fall Term - application materials due by June 15th
Spring Term - application materials due by November 15th
Priority application date for fall enrollment: March 1; priority application date for spring enrollment: December 1.
