This focus area is designed for students passionate about conducting research to comprehend, prevent, and treat infectious and immunological disorders. The specialized curriculum adopts a comprehensive, translational methodology covering all facets of infectious diseases. Participants will explore modern and emerging pathogens (including viruses, bacteria, and others), human immune responses, the creation and implementation of new diagnostic tools and treatments, along with the societal, psychological, and financial impacts of these conditions.
