The significance of water is immeasurable. Students pursuing the water: resources, policy, and management major are training to address global water challenges, including designing efficient residential water systems, securing clean drinking water access, and mitigating climate change impacts. Upon graduation, you'll be equipped to actively contribute to innovative solutions for conserving, utilizing, and preserving essential water supplies. The curriculum requires core coursework in watershed evaluation, governance, and regulations, water purity, hydrological systems, environmental water concerns, and physics. Additionally, students select specialized courses in aquatic environments, water cycle studies, purity standards, and/or purification methods and community health, alongside classes covering water legislation, urban planning, economic factors, mapping technologies, policy development, and professional communication.
